As a practicing artist for the past 25 years I have been through many different phases in my career, exploring many avenues of art making. Pastels were always a part of that but I became serious about pastels as a medium in 1984 when I began producing major works for the corporate art market in Queensland. From these works emerged large scale pastels using subject matter such as still life & interior narratives mixed with landscape and seascapes. I am always amazed by the diversity of pastels and how they can be applied. In recent years I have been teaching what I have learnt about this wonderful medium.
